Privacy Policy

VSHoward LLC
Effective date: September 12, 2026
Last updated: September 12, 2026

VSHoward LLC (“VSHoward,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at vshoward.com (the “Site”) and provides WordPress development, maintenance, and support services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

This policy covers the Site and our direct business relationships. It does not cover the websites of our clients, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you contact us, request a quote, sign a proposal, or pay an invoice, we collect the information you submit. Depending on the interaction, that may include:

  • Name and business name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Billing address
  • Details about your website, hosting, or the work you need
  • Any other content you include in a message or attachment

Our contact form is hosted by Bonsai and embedded in our Site as an iframe. See Section 3.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our web server and analytics tooling collect standard technical information, including:

  • IP address (truncated or anonymized by Google Analytics — see below)
  • Browser type, version, and language
  • Operating system and device type
  • Pages viewed, time on page, and referring URL
  • Date and time of access

Cookies and similar technologies

We use Google Tag Manager (“GTM”) to load and manage a single analytics tag: Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”). GTM itself does not set advertising cookies on our Site; GA4 sets first-party cookies (for example, _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors and measure sessions.

We do not run Google Ads remarketing, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or cross-site tracking tag on the Site.

Third parties whose content is embedded in the Site — notably Bonsai — may set their own cookies when that content loads. See Section 3.

Client site data

In the course of providing services, we are often granted administrative access to client websites, servers, hosting accounts, and databases. Those systems may contain personal information about a client’s own users, customers, subscribers, or employees.

We access that information only as needed to perform the work requested, handle it on the client’s behalf and under the client’s instructions, do not use it for our own purposes, and do not sell or share it. Where a client is subject to the GDPR, the CCPA, or a similar law, we act as a processor or service provider, and our handling of that data is governed by our services agreement with that client rather than by this policy.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes, proposals, and estimates
  • Perform, manage, and support the services you engage us for
  • Issue invoices, process payments, and maintain financial records
  • Communicate about projects, scheduling, maintenance, and security issues
  • Understand aggregate Site traffic and improve the Site’s content and performance
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Site and our systems
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • Enforce our agreements and resolve disputes

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of service providers. Each processes information only as necessary to provide its service to us.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4

GTM and GA4 are provided by Google LLC. GA4 collects usage and device information described in Section 1 and reports it to us in aggregate. We have IP anonymization in effect and have not enabled Google Signals, Google Ads linking, or demographic and interest reporting.

Bonsai

We use Bonsai (hellobonsai.com) for client intake forms, proposals and contracts, and invoicing and payment collection.

Important — how the embedded form works. The contact form on our Site is an iframe served directly by Bonsai. When you load a page containing that form, your browser connects to Bonsai’s servers, and Bonsai may set cookies or read device information as part of delivering and securing the form. When you submit the form, the information you enter is transmitted directly to Bonsai and stored on Bonsai’s systems; it does not pass through or get stored on our web server. We then retrieve and act on the submission through our Bonsai account.

Your use of the embedded form is therefore subject to Bonsai’s privacy practices in addition to ours. We encourage you to review Bonsai’s privacy policy at hellobonsai.com/privacy-policy.

Payments made through a Bonsai invoice are processed by Bonsai’s payment processors. We do not receive or store your full card number or bank account credentials.

Hosting and infrastructure

Our Site is hosted by a third-party web hosting provider that maintains standard server access logs on our behalf. We may also use email, backup, monitoring, and security services in the ordinary course of operating the Site and our business.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only:

  • With service providers — the vendors described in Section 3, and comparable providers, bound by contract to process information only for our purposes
  • With your direction or consent — for example, when you ask us to coordinate with your host, registrar, or another vendor on your behalf
  • For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, a subpoena, or other lawful request, or to
